Visit the beehive museum with its live bees:
Participants will have the opportunity to get under the skin of a beekeeper.
They'll don beekeeping gear and visit the beehive museum. Accompanied by an experienced guide, they'll discover the history of beekeeping, as well as hives from all over the world, with explanations of the particularities of each type of hive and the climatic conditions in which bees thrive.
They'll also discover the different inhabitants of the hive and the tools used by the beekeeper.
Tasting of beehive products:
After the tour, participants will have the opportunity to taste various products of the hive, including honey, pollen, propolis and royal jelly. A beekeeper or beekeeping expert will explain the benefits of each product and answer participants' questions.
Explanation of the harvesting process
The beekeeper will explain the different techniques used to harvest honey and present the extraction machines and harvesting tools.
Explanation of apitherapy
Distribution of jars of honey and sweets:
At the end of the activity, each participant will receive a jar of local honey, a jar of honey-based sweets and honey plant seeds to plant as a souvenir of the experience.
