Introduction
Visit Bees Api and learn about the importance of bees in pollination and the urban ecosystem.
Visit the hives with live bees
Participants will have the opportunity to get under the skin of a beekeeper.
They'll don beekeeping gear and visit the hives. Accompanied by an experienced guide, they'll discover the history of beekeeping and bees.
They'll also discover the different inhabitants of the hive and the tools used by the beekeeper.
Tasting of beehive products
After the tour, participants will have the opportunity to taste various products from the hive, including honey, pollen, propolis and royal jelly. A beekeeping expert will explain the benefits of each product and answer participants' questions.
Explanation of the harvesting process
The beekeeper will explain the different techniques used to harvest honey and present the extraction machines and harvesting tools.
Explanation of apitherapy
Distribution of honey jars and sweets
At the end of the activity, each participant will receive a jar of local honey, a jar of honey-based sweets and honey plant seeds to plant as a souvenir of the experience.
